Now that we’re about half-way through the year, it’s tempting to start looking at 2020 models as the only vehicles worth buying. That’s a mistake, however, and there are still some fantastic 2019 models to be had with a lot to offer. It can be easy to just search for “Chevy dealership near me” and go from there, but I think it’s better to start off by researching vehicles, figure out what you want, and then choose a dealership that has what you need.
Whether you want a car, truck, or SUV, there is a perfect vehicle out there at the Chevy dealer near you. In the interest of time, I’m not going to look at every vehicle in Chevy’s 2019 lineup, nor will I go into every possible detail on these cars. Think of this as an introduction to what you might have missed with this year’s vehicles – you can do plenty more research and learn more about these five vehicles when one of them catches your eye.
If you like the look of one of these, but it’s more truck or car than you need, then rest assured there are plenty of models that are a bit more toned down than these options. I just like to start at the top – it’s easier to back off and get something a bit more reasonable, then to fall short and hope there’s something better. Check these out and see what you think…
The 2019 Chevy Impala
Before you run off to the Chevy dealership near you, you should start by taking a good look at the 2019 Impala. Assuming you are interested in a sedan, and not an SUV or sports car, this is a great place to start and see what Chevy has to offer. While the Malibu might be a more affordable option that works well for a lot of drivers, the 2019 Impala really shows off what Chevy can do with a full-size sedan loaded with sophistication.
The 2019 Chevy Impala has a nice, big trunk, so even though it’s a sedan, you can pack a lot into it, and two different engines available so you can prioritize either fuel economy or performance. Tech features abound in the 2019 Impala, starting with a standard 8-inch Infotainment touchscreen display with additional features that include numerous USB ports and an available wireless charging area for compatible devices. With a gorgeous design inside and out and a long list of standard and available safety features, this is as good as sedan design gets.
The 2019 Chevy Bolt EV
You can also find one of the most impressive electric cars on the road at the Chevy dealership near you thanks to the 2019 Bolt EV. This is a purely electric car, not a hybrid, which really showcases how far electric-car technology has come over the last few years. It can run approximately 238 miles on a single charge and can be charged through a home unit or publicly available charging stations. The Bolt even has a programmable location-based charging system, so you can set it up to charge automatically during off-peak electric rate hours at home to keep your costs down.
The 2019 Chevy Bolt EV comes with a 10-inch Infotainment display as well as an 8-inch driver display, so you can easily keep track of both entertainment information and import stats such as your battery level, estimated range on your current charge, and driving speed. Even with its impressive performance, the Bolt EV still includes excellent safety features, which are more important than anything else, and a great deal of interior cargo space for going about your daily routine or taking a road trip.
The 2019 Chevy Camaro
Of course, if you’re more interested in high performance rather than a luxurious sedan or a super-efficient electric vehicle, then the Chevy dealership near you has you covered. The 2019 Camaro is a great place to start with some of the best options for power and performance anywhere. The best thing about the Camaro, however, is that it has a very reasonable starting price for a performance vehicle and maintains the classic sports car look and design you would expect.
There are numerous trim levels and engines available on the 2019 Chevy Camaro, so it can fit into just about any budget, along with different powertrain options so you can find a model that perfectly meets your needs. Fortunately, Chevy hasn’t skimped on the interior features with this modern sports car, so you can still get things like available heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, and an available 8-inch Infotainment display with Navigation. Seriously, this thing is a beast, but it doesn’t sacrifice tech and safety features, so you never feel like you have lost anything by choosing a sports car (except perhaps some backseat space, but that’s not your problem – just make people who complain sit in the back).
The 2019 Chevy Suburban
If an SUV is more your style, then consider the massive 2019 Chevy Suburban and everything it has to offer. Full disclosure, this is certainly the largest SUV you’ll find at a Chevy dealership near you, but if you want a full-size model, then this is the way to go. This monster has more than 120 cu.ft. of interior cargo space, so don’t be surprised if friends ask you to help them move. On the upside, however, you can pack a ton of stuff into this SUV, making it perfect for long road trips, going camping, or Sunday tailgating.
Depending on the trim level you choose, you can get seating for up to 9 people in the Suburban, so this is a great choice if you have a large group of friends or a big family. There are numerous engines available too, so you can prioritize if you need more power for higher towing capacity or if you want better fuel economy to go easy on your wallet and the environment. As you might expect, the features and tech inside the 2019 Suburban are among the best out there, with an available 8-inch Infotainment system with Navigation, an available customizable driver information screen, and luxury options like leather seating and an available entertainment package with flip-down HD displays for the second and third row.
The 2019 Chevy Silverado
Truck lovers, you have not been forgotten – I was just saving the best for last. If you’re in need of a solid, reliable, hard-working pickup, then the Chevy dealership near you has you covered with the 2019 Silverado. The standard 1500 model is an option for anyone who needs to get a lot of work done but still wants the perfect truck to play on the weekend. It starts at a reasonable price, has solid fuel economy, and options for different cab and bed configurations.
There are also multiple engines and trim levels available, so whether you want something rugged for going off-road or need to focus on towing capacity to haul lumber across town, the Silverado is a great choice. Of course, if you need something even more powerful, the 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500 and 3500 heavy-duty models can tackle pretty much anything you throw at them. The Silverado also has great safety features and all the modern amenities you would expect, such as an available 8-inch Infotainment display with Navigation, an available wireless charging system, and numerous USB ports.
