Should You Lease a Lexus RX 350?

It’s Friday night, and time to get your friends together and head out for a night of fun until the sun comes up, or maybe it’s time to pick up some of your kid’s friends for a slumber party. Whatever the case, a gorgeous midsize SUV makes handling everything you need much easier, and you won’t find one that’s more stunning or sophisticated than the Lexus RX 350, making it the perfect vehicle for a wide range of drivers. But why should you consider a Lexus RX 350 lease? That’s a great question and one that I’ll be happy to answer—so let’s take a look at what this vehicle has to offer, and you’ll quickly see what the RX 350 can do for you.

Bold Performance You Can Count On

I don’t care what kind of vehicle you’re interested in; when figuring out what will best meet your needs, I always like to start with the engine. So much of your driving experience depends on the powertrain that it’s a great way to eliminate vehicles that won’t work for you. The last thing you want is a midsize SUV that feels tepid or weak when you hit the road—fortunately, that’s not a risk with the Lexus RX 350.

There are two primary engine options for the 2023 Lexus RX. A couple of other powertrains are available, but you’ll only find them on very specific options––the RX 450h+ and the RX 500h––which we’re not looking at today. The standard engine on the RX 350 is a 2.4L I-4 Turbo that delivers 275 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque, which is fantastic performance for a midsize SUV. This engine comes with front-wheel drive standard, though all-wheel drive is available, and gets an EPA-estimated 22 MPG in the city, 29 MPG on the highway, and 25 MPG combined.

If you’re looking for something more efficient, consider the Lexus RX 350h, which features a 2.5L I-4 engine with a Lexus Hybrid Electric Drive, delivering 246 hp and 233 lb-ft of torque. While this is a bit less powerful than the base engine, it comes with all-wheel drive standard and gets an estimated 37 MPG in the city, 34 MPG on the highway, and 36 MPG combined. These hybrid models are incredibly efficient, making them perfect for getting around the city, going on long road trips, or simply getting through your daily routine with fewer stops for gas. You can’t go wrong with either of these engines; it simply comes down to which one better meets your needs.

A Gorgeous and Functional Design

I’ll be the first to admit that looks and style aren’t everything when it comes to a vehicle, but if you’re going for a luxury model, then you deserve something that is stunning. The Lexus RX certainly fits this bill with an incredible design clearly made to turn heads. Every trim looks amazing, though certain exterior features and details depend on which one you choose. Standard on every trim is Bi-LED headlamps and daytime running lights, with LED fog lamps and an LED blade tail lamp. You’ll also find heated outside mirrors, a driver’s side auto-dimming outside mirror, and rain-sensing windshield wipers on every 2023 Lexus RX 350.

Available features build on these details to make certain trims even more of a joy to drive—which is saying something. For example, a power tilt-and-slide moonroof is available on the base trims and comes standard on higher trims, with a panorama glass roof as an option for high-end trims. Similarly, while 19-inch wheels are standard on a lot of trims, some come with 21-inch wheels instead. Every 2023 Lexus RX 350 comes with a power rear door, but a kick sensor is available to provide you with hands-free functionality. While every trim looks amazing, some take functionality to the next level.

Luxury and Innovation Throughout

While it’s easy to think of exterior options as extra niceties, the kind of luxury, comfort, and advanced technology you get inside your vehicle cannot be overlooked. The 2023 Lexus RX 350 comes through beautifully in this regard, no matter which trim you choose, though some elevate what you get even further. A SmartAccess system with push-button Start/Stop is standard on every RX 350, along with ambient illumination and multi-zone climate control to ensure everyone is comfortable. Starting trims come with a NuLuxe interior that looks and feels amazing while also being remarkably durable, with eight-way power-adjustable front seats, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, and heated front seats.

Looking at higher trims for the Lexus RX 350, you’ll find a number of upgrades such as thematic ambient illumination that lets you customize your interior lighting to match your mood, as well as perforated semi-aniline leather-trimmed seating, 10-way power front seats with power lumbar, and a heated wood and leather-trimmed steering wheel. The top trims come with heated and ventilated front seats, with available heated and ventilated rear seats, plus a Black Open-Pore Wood interior with Ash Bamboo details that look absolutely stunning.

The technology inside the 2023 RX 350 is easy to use and intuitive thanks to a standard 9.8-inch infotainment display paired with a seven-inch multi-information screen for the driver. Support for Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is standard, along with a 12-speaker sound system. If you want to take things even further, then there’s a gorgeous 14-inch infotainment screen featuring DriveConnect with Cloud Navigation, a 10-inch color Head-Up Display, and a 21-speaker Mark Levinson PurePlay sound system that’s absolutely incredible. All of this comes together to create a remarkable interior that welcomes you whenever you get behind the wheel.

Advanced Safety and Incredible Protection

I don’t care if you’re single and looking to enjoy a night out on the weekend or driving your spouse and two kids to a school activity: nothing is more important than your safety and well-being. Any vehicle you choose needs to help protect you and your loved ones; the 2023 Lexus RX 350 is perfect since every trim comes with the incredible Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 suite of advanced driver-assist features. This includes All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control with Curve Speed Management, a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection and Intersection Support, and Road Sign Assist.

You also get a Lane Tracing Assist system to help you drive safely and Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist to ensure you stay in your lane. Intelligent High Beams are standard, activating automatically in low-light conditions and deactivating automatically to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. There are also 10 airbags, a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and much more. The only pieces of advanced safety technology offered as available options are Intuitive Parking Assist with Automatic Braking, a Digital Rearview Mirror, and a Panoramic View Monitor that gives you a virtual view around your vehicle while maneuvering at low speeds. Otherwise, every 2023 Lexus RX 350 is incredibly safe and ready to protect you.

Experience the Power and Elegance of a Lexus

Honestly, this is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to just how remarkable the 2023 Lexus RX 350 really is. No matter what you need your next vehicle for, if you’re looking to lease a luxury midsize SUV, then this model needs to be at the top of your list. With robust performance that makes it fun to drive, incredible efficiency to keep you on the road longer, gorgeous style that you’ll be proud to show off, and remarkable features designed to keep a smile on your face when you’re behind the wheel, you just can’t beat the RX 350. All you have to do now is decide which engine you prefer and then look at the base, Premium, Premium+, Luxury, and F Sport Handling trims to figure out which one has all the features you want.
