The 2025 Ram 1500 has a lot to offer thanks to its bold styling, impressive engines, and remarkable features inside and out. If you go looking for a Ram 1500 for sale, one of the first things you’ll probably notice is that there are a crazy number of versions available. Ram is offering nine different trims and one variant for the 2025 model, and trying to keep track of what each version has to offer can feel like an impossible task.
Differences between some trims are pretty minimal while moving from one to another in certain cases can provide much more dramatic distinctions. Today, I’m going to take you through the 2025 Ram 1500’s full lineup with some highlights on all trim levels and variants so you can get a better sense of which one is best for you.
The 2025 Ram 1500 Tradesman
The Tradesman is the entry-level trim and a great pick if you want to keep things simple or you’re building a fleet. You can choose between rear-wheel drive (4×2) or four-wheel drive (4×4), pick a Quad Cab or larger Crew Cab, and decide between a five-foot, six-inch bed and a six-foot, four-inch bed. The Tradesman comes with the standard 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine (for 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque), plus great safety tech like a Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring, and more. Inside, this trim has a standard 8.4-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment system, a 3.5-inch Driver Information Display, and simple vinyl seating.
The 2025 Ram 1500 Tradesman HFE
This is an interesting trim that includes a few upgrades from the base Tradesman while giving you a bit less freedom. The Tradesman HFE is only available with rear-wheel drive, a Quad Cab, and the longer six-foot, four-inch bed. Rather than the 18-inch wheels of the Tradesman, however, this trim has 20-inch wheels for a bolder overall look. Inside, you’ll find cloth seating rather than vinyl, and this trim comes with wheel-to-wheel side steps for easier entry and departure.
The 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn
If you like some of the upgrades that come with the Tradesman HFE but want more freedom in getting the truck you need, then the Big Horn is a strong contender. This trim comes with 18-inch wheels but has 20-inch wheels available; it also lets you choose between different cab sizes, bed lengths, and drivetrains, as had the Tradesman. A leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls is standard in the Big Horn; available options include a larger 7-inch Driver Information Display and a 12-inch infotainment screen. You can also get deluxe cloth seating, a ten-way power driver’s seat, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and a nine-speaker sound system with a subwoofer to take your driving experience further.
The 2025 Ram 1500 Warlock
The Warlock is a new trim level for the Ram 1500 this year, though it’s a name that should be familiar to fans of the Ram pickup. This is a great trim to consider if you are interested in some light off-roading since it comes with 18-inch wheels wrapped in massive 33-inch all-terrain tires. You also get a one-inch raised ride height on the Warlock, along with Bilstein front and rear shocks, underbody skid plates, and standard four-wheel drive. Perhaps most importantly, the Warlock has the new 3.0L “Hurricane” Turbo I-6 as its standard engine, which delivers an impressive 420 hp and 469 lb-ft of torque for a fantastic driving experience.
The 2025 Ram 1500 Laramie
If you’re not interested in going off-road but want the impressive power of the Warlock, then the Laramie is a great choice. This trim comes with the 3.0L Hurricane engine and your choice of rear- or four-wheel drive; the Crew Cab is standard, but you can choose between the two bed lengths. The Laramie comes with a 12-inch Uconnect 5 system, though an upgraded 14.4-inch display is available, as is a 12-inch programmable Driver Information Display. Heated and ventilated leather seating is standard, as are ten-way power front seats and a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The 2025 Ram 1500 Rebel
Next up is the Rebel, which is a fantastic choice for getting great features and impressive off-road performance. Only available with four-wheel drive, the Rebel trim has the Hurricane engine and a one-inch lifted suspension for 9.7 inches of ground clearance. For excellent off-road performance, this trim has all-terrain 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, protective skid plates, and Select-Speed Control. You can even choose an available four-corner air suspension system with a two-inch lift for a greater 10.7 inches of ground clearance!
The 2025 Ram 1500 RHO
To take off-road capability and performance to the highest level, you should check out the RHO variant, which features a High-Output 3.0L Hurricane engine that delivers an impressive 540 hp and 521 lb-ft of torque. This is combined with Bilstein Black Hawk shocks to create something fierce for the trail. The RHO comes with 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory all-terrain tires, with 18-inch beadlock-capable wheels available; it also has a high-performance dual exhaust and underbody skid plates. Overall, it’s a tremendous option if you want an off-road truck that’s a thrill to drive.
The 2025 Ram 1500 Limited
If you’re more interested in rich amenities rather than off-road performance, then the Limited is a great trim to check out. This beast is powered by the same High-Output Hurricane engine as the RHO variant and comes with the four-corner air suspension for an incredibly smooth ride. Inside, you’ll find the 12-inch programmable Driver Information Display, your choice of a 12- or 14.4-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment system, and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. It has heated, ventilated, massaging, twelve-way adjustable, leather seating up front, and interior details including genuine wood, leather, and metal accents, plus an exclusive screen for the front-row passenger.
The 2025 Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn
The Limited Longhorn adds a few extra touches to the Limited, but it’s not a massive leap up in terms of features. Where the Limited has a Black quilted leather interior (with or without Ebony Red details), the Limited Longhorn features a distinct Bison Brown and Mountain Brown interior instead. Otherwise, its interior comfort, style, and luxury features are much like the Limited, so you’ll get a similar overall experience from either trim.
The 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten
If you want the absolute pinnacle of luxury and sophistication that Ram offers, then look no further than the new, ultra-high-end Tungsten trim. You get the best of the best with the Tungsten: the High-Output engine, 22-inch wheels for massive road presence, a power tailgate, and more. Inside, you’ll find a cabin beyond anything else thanks to 24-way power-adjustable seating with premium leather and massage functionality. This trim also has two wireless smartphone charging pads, the passenger screen, the 14.5-inch touchscreen, and a 23-speaker Klipsch Reference Premiere Audio system that gets you truly incredible sound quality.
Which 2025 Ram 1500 Has What You’re Looking For?
As you can see, it’s easy to argue that Ram offers something for everyone with its lineup, but you could also argue it has an option or two more than it really needs. That said, with ten different versions available, it’s fairly simple for someone to get everything you want without missing out on anything or going overboard. You have a good variety of trims and variants depending on whether your focus is on performance or extravagance.
Once you have a sense of what’s most important, you can consider your budget and the features you need and then choose accordingly. Just remember that a lot of lower trims have many options available, so you can still get the Hurricane engine while sticking to something simple like the Big Horn trim if it works best for you.
