Reasons to Consider the Chevy Trax For Your Next Vehicle

The 2020 Chevy Trax is Perfectly Suited For Every Type of Driver

The 2020 Chevy Trax is a much-anticipated vehicle for a variety of different reasons. With nine different colors to choose from, the new Trax has many options that can be well-suited for any taste or lifestyle. Design the Trax just how you like it, with lots of gorgeous looks and upgrades for any budget. Customizable features turn this SUV into a true “crossover” vehicle that can take you from your 9-5 in the city to a rugged, weekend camping trip and everywhere in between. It’s small enough for everyday use but large enough to make everyone feel comfortable on long trips on the road. From outdoor enthusiasts to moms on-the-go, the Chevy Trax has something to offer just about everyone.

The Trax’s Journey to 2020

Chevrolet has been manufacturing the subcompact Trax since 2013. The original concept was unveiled in France at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, with the final model being shown at the 2013 North American Auto Show. It wasn’t sold in the United States until 2015, where it has remained a popular vehicle ever since. In 2017, Chevrolet gave the Trax a mid-cycle makeover to bring in classy designs inspired by the Corvette. These included halogen projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, a newly designed grille, tail lights, and dashboard. After it’s new look and updates, the Trax has proven itself to be worthy as a top choice for prospective buyers.

Checking Out The Redline Edition

Chevy shoppers can now choose to opt in for a stylish upgrade that Chevy calls the Redline Edition. Available on the Trax LT as part of the LT Convenience Package, you can upgrade the style on your 2020 Chevy Trax by opting for demur black and red accents. This stylish option includes black-finish aluminum wheels with red accent stripes and a black Trax badge with a red outline. The mirror caps, grille, and beltline moldings are also black with surround front and rear black bowtie emblems. Jet black seating is available in deluxe cloth or leatherette, which blends seamlessly into an all black interior. Exterior color options for the Redline Edition include Silver Ice Metallic, Summit White, or Mosaic Black Metallic to complement the dark interior. Trax Models From LS to Premiere

Depending on your budget and preferences, you can design a basic Trax for as low as $21,300. This LS version includes many nice features such as rear vision camera and the Chevy Infotainment system. For a slight upgrade you can choose the LT, which comes with roof rack side rails, deluxe cloth seating, cruise control and a remote vehicle start to warm your Trax up while it’s still sitting in the driveway. Premium Trax Models bring additional driver confidence features, power sunroof, leatherette seating and 18-inch alloy wheels. Look into the Premier trim further on MSN.

Keep The Peace By Reconfiguring Your Seating Arrangement

Whatever it is that you need to bring with you, there’s room for it in the Trax. The Trax is the perfect option for taking your kids to camp, college or on a family vacation. There are eight different seating arrangements that can be created in this one versatile vehicle. By folding the front seat down flat, you can fit an object that’s up to eight-feet long. Gone are the days of trying to secure objects hanging partially out the window or poking out of the trunk. With the Chevy Trax, there’s enough room to transport long items safely inside the vehicle.

Get double the trunk space by folding down the second row completely. If you’d rather store something along the middle seat (perhaps as a convenient divider between rival siblings), you have the option to fold the center seat down and run an object from front to back along the middle of the car. However you choose to set it up, there’s plenty of room in the Trax for passengers and cargo, with lots of flexibility to arrange everything exactly how you want it.

Constant Connectivity For The Tech-Obsessed

Using Chevrolet’s Infotainment System, the 2020 Chevy Trax keeps you connected without getting in the way of your drive. Sync calls, texts, navigation and music into one integrated system. For those in the backseat, a tablet holder can be attached to the back of the front seat for easy viewing and use.

Chevy’s Command Center offers turn by turn navigation, with up to date instructions shared by voice so you don’t need to look away from the road. You can even get updates on gas station prices nearby using Sirius XM Travel Link and NavTraffic. The latest traffic and weather reports are also available. For I-phone users, the Siri Eyes-Free system lets you compose messages safely while driving.

The built-in 4G LTE Wifi Hotspot will connect up to seven devices to Wifi, so you can get internet even if your data isn’t cooperating. Blast the music with waterproof bluetooth speakers that can be easily connected to Chevy’s tech system. The 2020 Chevy Trax is the perfect mix of high-tech, family-friendly, and rugged.

Bring the Trax on Your Next Outdoor Adventure

Chevy truly lets you customize your vehicle, with loads of great accessory options to choose from. If you want to protect the Trax from snowy boots or muddy sneakers, choose all weather mats for the front seats and all weather floor liners for the passenger row. If you need to bring snacks, water bottles and gear, opt for a cargo organizer that keeps items separate and makes packing a breeze.

The 2020 Chevy Trax has a 1.4-liter turbocharged ECOTEC engine. With great mileage for a subcompact SUV, you’ll get 26 miles per gallon through the city and 31 miles per gallon on the highway. All-wheel drive makes it easy to drive through all four seasons with ease.

For hauling light cargo along behind you, a trailer hitch carrier mount can be installed to carry 110lb load (although heavy trailer towing is not recommended). If you want to bring bikes, choose between a one bike or two bike hitch mounted carrier. The 2020 Chevy Trax is the perfect vehicle to take your family from soccer practice to a camping trip with plenty of tech connectivity to keep everyone happy.

Chevy Knows That Versatility Is An Asset For Modern Americans

The versatility of the 2020 Chevy Trax is probably it’s greatest asset in today’s day and age. Buying a new car is a big investment, even if it’s a good deal. You want to find a vehicle that not only suits your lifestyle today but can adapt to how you are living ten years from now. With Chevy’s record of longevity, there’s a good chance you’re still going to be driving your 2020 Trax in 2030 and beyond.

Families grow, jobs change and through all of life’s curveballs, you need a car that will adapt as the years go on. The Trax is the right size with the diverse enough features to weather life’s changes with you. If you’re looking for a one-size fits all vehicle, the 2020 Trax is it.
