Shannon had her first byline at sixteen years old in her hometown newspaper. From there, she received a journalism scholarship to college, but at the end of five years, she held an MS in Family and Consumer Science with a BS in Community Health instead. After taking a different path for many years, she returned to writing, focusing on blogs and website content. She enjoys breaking down the features of new cars and how they relate to the everyday driver. In her spare time, she loves crafting, watching baseball and football, spending time with her children, and working on a book.
