My family chose a pickup instead of an SUV because we needed space for all of our rather large instruments like a harp, cello, two violins, and a guitar. There would be just enough room for the instruments in the back and ourselves inside.

I will admit to being a bit of an aesthetics snob when it comes to certain things like vehicles. There are shapes, lines, and angles that I don’t care for, and sometimes that does make a difference in which vehicle I’m leaning toward.
