Toyota: A Reliable Manufacturer of Cars and SUVs

The most popular vehicles for most people these days are cars and SUVs. Cars offer a great deal of practicality for daily commuting and traveling with a small family or a few friends. They get amazing fuel economy and are fun to drive, easy to maneuver, and a breeze to park. It is no wonder that so many people love to buy and drive cars. Toyota makes a large selection of cars, all well-designed and reliable. The Corolla, Camry, and Prius are three of their more popular cars due to their fuel efficiency, reliability, great features, and affordable price.

SUVs are a great choice for those who need a little –– or a lot –- more room. Maybe the family is growing, and a sedan no longer fits everyone. Maybe you just like going on outdoor adventures and need some more room for all the camping gear you just bought. Whatever the reason, SUVs provide some of the best functionality. They are well-performing vehicles with a sizable amount of interior space. They can range in size from a compact crossover to huge, three-row SUVs. The Highlander, RAV4, and 4Runner are three of the most popular Toyota SUVs. They provide practicality, interior space, exterior durability, impressive fuel economy, and creature comforts. Toyota is able to make these high-quality SUVs and still make them affordably priced, and you can find them all at your local Toyota dealer.

The Best Cars Toyota Makes

Sedans and small cars offer some great functionality. They are small and easy to drive. They provide really impressive fuel efficiency allowing you to go for much longer periods of time without needing to fill up the tank. Not only are smaller cars very practical, but they are also fun to drive. You ride closer to the ground, and the small size makes them fun to maneuver and simple to park. The only real downside to a small car is the lack of interior space, but sometimes you don’t need a lot of space. When all you want or need is a small and functional vehicle which is enjoyable to drive and provides stellar fuel economy, a small car is probably the best fit for you. We will be looking at three of Toyota’s most popular cars, the Corolla, the Camry, and the Prius, but they produce several more options as well.

The 2023 Corolla comes in several great trim options and can be found in the form of a traditional-gas sedan, a hatchback, a hybrid sedan, a crossover SUV, and there is even a performance option baring the Corolla name. Impressive fuel economy has always been a hallmark of the traditional Corolla models, and the 2023 model is no exception. This Corolla gets up to 35 MPG with the standard engine, and the hybrid gets 53 MPG in the city and 46 MPG on the highway. Frequent fill-ups are a thing of the past with this impressive and functional small car.

In addition to fuel economy, the Corolla has a few more features worth mentioning. The CVT transmission provides a very smooth driving experience. The 2023 Corolla also has an 8-inch multimedia touchscreen which keeps smart devices easily connected to the vehicle entertainment system. Your favorite tunes are only a touch away.

The 2023 Camry is another very popular car choice. It is a bit larger than the Corolla, providing more room in the back seat and the trunk. It still gets impressive fuel economy ratings with 28 MPG in the city and 39 MPG on the highway. It is available in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and even has an available V6 engine to provide more power. The 2023 hybrid option gets 51 MPG in the city and 53 MPG on the highway. Interior tech and comfort are improved over the Corolla, including available leather seats, an available 9-inch display, and some great fabric color options.

The 2023 Prius was the first mass-produced hybrid vehicle and its popularity over the decades has shown that Toyota delivers on its promises. This amazing vehicle gets up to 57 MPG, which is pretty crazy to think about. Even today, getting 30 MPG is considered good fuel economy, and the Prius is getting almost twice that amount. The 2023 Prius is available with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Its 2.0L 4-cylinder hybrid engine produces 194 horsepower with the FWD and 196 with AWD. Also, don’t think that because this is a hybrid that it can’t accelerate well. The Prius is capable of going 0-60 in 7 seconds. And while that won’t win any speed challenges against sports cars, it is a very impressive acceleration for a hybrid.

Toyota SUVs are Built for Adventure

An SUV is a vehicle that balances the power of a truck with the maneuverability of a car. The interior space of an SUV is significantly greater than that of a small car, while the exterior is smaller than a truck most of the time. Most SUVs also have more seats than trucks as well. The Highlander, RAV4, and 4Runner are all popular Toyota SUVs and offer everything from a portable SUV to off-road performance. Toyota designs and builds these SUVs to be both attractive and functional, all at a reasonable price.

The 2023 Highlander is one of the more popular Toyota SUVs, and it isn’t hard to see why. The 2.4L 4-Cylinder turbo engine provides plenty of power for all your adventures. It has an impressive 5,000 lb towing capacity. Available in front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, the Highlander can be outfitted for some pretty solid off-road performance. The fuel economy of the Highlander is also impressive, with up to 29 MPG on the highway and 22 MPG in the city. The hybrid option ups the combined fuel economy rating to 36 MPG.

2023 saw the introduction of a new type of Highlander: the Grand Highlander. This vehicle is a totally new design for the 2024 model year while taking inspiration from the Highlander. The Grand Highlander is a good bit bigger to allow for more legroom and cargo space for the third-row passengers. While both the standard and Grand Highlanders both allow for up to 8 seats, the latter does it much more comfortably.

The 2023 RAV4 is Toyota’s most popular SUV. Its 203 horsepower 2.5L 4-cylinder engine provides more than enough power for this small SUV. Don’t let the smaller size fool you, though, because this SUV still comfortably seats five occupants and still has cargo space left. With the back seats folded, you’ll have a lot of room for cargo.

The fuel economy is great on both the 2023 traditional-gas and hybrid versions. The traditional-gas RAV4 gets 27 MPG in the city and 35 MPG on the highway. The hybrid gets 41 MPG in the city and 38 MPG on the highway. The RAV4 hybrid also has a more powerful 219 hp engine. Both options provide solid ground clearance, with 8.6 inches on the traditional-gas RAV4 and 8.1 inches for the hybrid. The RAV4 provides great functionality, an attractive design, and some cutting-edge tech.

The 4Runner has been around for 40 years, and the 2023 model has several special edition options to celebrate its incredible history. This SUV is really built for off-road driving, especially with the TRD trim. The 4Runner TRD comes with a 4.0L V6 engine with four-wheel drive and several great off-roading options, like the improved suspension, all-terrain tires, skid plate, Crawl Control, Multi-Terrain Select, and an electronically controlled locking rear differential. The 2023 4Runner TRD was really built for high performance on and off the road. It has five seats standard, which can be expanded to seven on certain trims. The towing capacity is also impressive, with a capacity of up to 5,000 lbs.

Toyota SUVs really do cover all the bases with their legendary performance and reliability.
