If a mid-size luxury SUV is more your style, then the 2009 Cadillac SRX is a solid choice. With seating for seven people, it offers a maximum cargo area of just under 70 cubic feet. You can also choose between two different powertrains. The first is a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 255 hp and 254 lb-ft of torque. OnStar telematics, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, satellite radio, and rear parking assist are just to name a few. Models equipped with the V8 engine enjoy some upgrades, including heated seats, wood accents, and xenon headlights. You may also be able to find one with a rear-seat DVD entertainment system navigation, a sunroof, or even the coveted Magnetic Ride Control suspension system.

#3 – 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC

If you prefer a newer used luxury SUV, then we must recommend the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC. There are four different powertrain options that you may find on the market. The first is equipped on the GLC 300, and it is a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 241 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. The second is fitted under the hood of the AMG GLC 43, and it is a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that puts out 362 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque. The third is paired with the AMG GLC 63, and it is a turbocharged V8 that pumps out 469 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. Finally, the higher-output V8 motor that puts out 503 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque is equipped on the AMG GLC 63 S.

Standard equipment includes a power liftgate, sunroof, heated seats, dual-zone climate control, and a rearview camera. Also, the Mbrace Connect infotainment interface features advanced smartphone integration and two USB ports. This is one of our more expensive picks due to its recent release, but we definitely think it’s worth the money.

Not only does it look good, but it is also quite powerful. Under the hood, you’ll find a 6.2-liter V8 engine that generates 403 hp and 417 lb-ft of torque. It can even tow up to 8,300 pounds, which makes it ideal for active families.

Available in four trim levels, standard features include trip-zone automatic climate control, a power liftgate, heated/ventilated seats, and leather upholstery. Also standard are some incredible tech features like voice-controlled navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, OnStar telematics, satellite radio, and a 10-speaker Bose stereo. As for safety, every model comes with rear parking sensors, fog lights, xenon headlamps, and a rearview camera.
