Depending on which trim level you choose, the backup camera’s video feed will be displayed on either a 5-inch, 7-inch, or 8.4-inch touchscreen. The base Sport model comes with an advanced infotainment interface that is displayed on a 5-inch touchscreen. Keep in mind that this monitor also serves as the video feed for the aforementioned rearview camera. If you choose any of the higher trims, the infotainment interface will get an upgraded 7-inch or 8.4-inch touchscreen. One of our favorites is the forward collision warning system with automatic emergency braking, which helps prevent accidents on the road. Using a series of front-facing sensors, the system monitors the road ahead for any obstacles. If something is detected, the driver will be prompted with visual and audible alerts to take action. And if no action is taken, the system will trigger the automatic emergency braking feature to bring the vehicle to a rapid and controlled stop.
#5 – Adaptive Cruise Control
Lots of vehicles have cruise control these days, but not every vehicle has adaptive cruise control. This advanced feature allows the driver to set a speed limit. If traffic begins to slow, the sensors on the outside of the vehicle will signal the system to slow down. Your vehicle will keep pace with the surrounding traffic.
Once the speed of the traffic begins to pick up, the system will return the Renegade to the originally set speed. You don’t have to tense yourself up by accelerating and stomping on the brake anymore! Keep in mind that this system is available on the Limited trim level.

Traditionally, advanced automated parking systems have been reserved for luxury vehicles. However, the 2020 Jeep Renegade is all about breaking down stereotypes. If you get the Limited trim or higher, you will also get the new automated parking system. Designed to help with parallel street parking, you don’t have to stress about bumping someone else’s fender. It can also be useful at parks, camping grounds, and any other place that allows you to park at your own discretion.
#3 – Automatic Wipers
Have you ever gotten caught in a sudden downpour? Most people have, and it can be a frightening experience. That’s why the 2020 Jeep Renegade is equipped with automatic windshield wipers that come on as soon as the sensors detect rain. It may seem like a simple feature, but it ensures that you will always keep maximum visibility in the event of inclement weather. #2 – Off-Roading Exterior
Our favorite trim level is not the budget-friendly Sport, the mid-level Latitude, or the luxury Limited. It’s actually the off-roading Trailhawk trim! Most compact crossovers and SUVs can’t do half of the thing the 2020 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk can do. This trim comes with so many cool features that we can’t list them all.
On the outside, it features protective skid plates, tow hooks, and all-terrain tires to handle adventures in the wild. You can even become a master of the slopes with hill-descent control. Also, the revised suspension provides excellent handling no matter what kind of terrain you are traveling over. This trim truly deserves to wear Jeep’s Trail Rated badge.
#1 – Trailhawk Power
Since the Trailhawk trim is our favorite, we thought it would only be fitting to wrap up our list with the amazing 2020 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk powertrain. Rumbling under the hood is a turbocharged 1.3-liter 4-cylinder motor that pushes out 177 hp and 201 lb-ft of torque. Equipped with four-wheel drive for better off-roading, this powertrain makes the Renegade come alive.
But this engine can also be equipped on the Limited trim with your choice of front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. Compare those numbers to the standard 2.4-liter 4-cylinder powertrain that generates 180 hp and 175 lb-ft of torque. While both powertrains are quite robust for the vehicle’s small size, we prefer the Trailhawk’s brute strength!
