The Ram Tradesman is the Work Truck for You

Pickup trucks have exploded in popularity in recent years as more and more drivers enjoy using them for off-road adventures or as a great luxury model for the family that provides a versatility not evidenced by sedans and SUVs. But for those truckers who go back to the old days, the key reason to own a pickup is as a work truck. If you are one of these drivers, then you know that there is no vehicle quite like a pickup truck to get the job done if you need it for your work. Whether your job involves towing equipment like a landscaper, carrying cargo like a contractor, or going to job sites with unpaved roads, only a pickup truck is built to provide you with this ability. So if you are looking for work trucks for sale near you, then you need to look for a Ram Tradesman.

The Ram Tradesman is the one truck that has the capability to get the job done for you with the ruggedness and dependability that can stand up to the most punishing tasks. Best of all, the Tradesman trim on Ram trucks is affordably priced, so you won’t bust your business’s budget getting behind the wheel of one. If you need a true work truck, then it’s time to get behind the wheel of a Ram Tradesman.

2021 Ram 1500 Tradesman

The flagship model of Ram trucks is the 1500. The 2021 Ram 1500 Tradesman has a base MSRP of $32,245 and provides a lot of options for a truck that you plan to use for work. It starts with your choice of either a Crew Cab or Quad Cab. For those who are a little confused, a Crew Cab has four full-size doors and two full rows of seats, while a Quad Cab has two full-size and two half-size doors, with a rear row that is slightly smaller than on the Crew Cab. In general, the Quad Cab will be lower priced than the Ram 1500 Tradesman with a Crew Cab while having a slightly higher towing rating. This is because the 2021 Ram 1500 with a Quad Cab has less gross vehicle weight than one with a Crew Cab.

Your options go beyond just deciding on the cab style. You also get a choice of either a standard 6’4” payload box or a shorter 5’7” box on the Crew Cab model of the Ram 1500 Tradesman. The bigger box increases the amount of payload your truck can carry while slightly reducing the towing capacity. Ram also gives you a choice of a 4X4 or 4X2 drivetrain on your 2021 Tradesman. While the 4X4 improves your truck’s traction, having a 4X2 drivetrain increases towing and hauling capacities. In other words, Ram lets you decide which features you need more for your work.

The 2021 Ram 1500 Tradesman has a rugged and durable exterior that is perfect for any task. This extends to the black and diesel gray interior with high-quality vinyl seats that are not just tough-looking but will easily stand up to the wear-and-tear you are sure to put your truck through on a daily basis. You will also find this interior easy to clean, so you won’t have to worry about maintaining it. What’s more, you and your passengers are sure to enjoy the Uconnect 3 infotainment system with a 5-inch touchscreen. This will allow you to utilize Bluetooth connectivity so you can stay connected while out on the job.

This is one truck that is built to get the job done. The 2021 Ram 1500 Tradesman comes equipped with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 gas engine with eTorque paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that produces up to 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to tow up to 7,730 pounds depending on your choice of cab style and drivetrain. It can also carry up to 2,300 pounds in its payload bed, so you can get all your materials and equipment to the job site in one easy trip.

The Ram 1500 Tradesman also won’t hurt you at the pump, as it is able to get an estimated 20 miles per gallon in city driving and 25 miles per gallon on the highway with front-wheel drive. This is due in part to the air cam that automatically deploys at high speed, extending a full 2.5-inches to reduce drag when driving your 2021 Ram 1500 Tradesman on the highway. You will get slightly less fuel capacity with all-wheel drive, but it only drops to 19 miles per gallon in the city and 24 miles per gallon on the highway.
