So Convenient You’ll Love the Daily Commute

Have you ever wanted a car with the convenience and luxury of a high-class vehicle for an affordable price? That means all the fixings—standard technology and safety features, unique designs, and a cozy interior to keep you snug on the road. Well, what if I told you that it is totally possible? (Because it is). Life does not always seem easy, especially on the wallet, but it can be a whole lot more exciting and fun in the new 2024 Nissan Altima. Nissan has remained a trusted brand for years and has built a vehicle for practicality and the ability to go the distance.

Commuters and travelers will love this midsize sedan. Who would not love a car that is versatile and able to take you where you need to go? There are multiple trim options to ensure you find the exact features and designs you are looking for, not to mention the standard comfort and affordability of the Nissan. There is an interior cabin to keep you entertained and informed. If you have ever wanted a fuel-efficient, enjoyable ride, then you will absolutely fall for the new Altima. Nothing will stop you in this new, can-do-it-all vehicle.

Specifications

With an MSRP of $25,730, you can take home a sedan that can easily take you from here to there and over the hill. You will never have to worry about being in that unfortunate situation on the side of the road with a broken-down vehicle that should have been traded in years ago. In fact, besides being able to travel short and long distances, this car has excellent fuel economy, getting 27 MPG in the city and 39 MPG on the highway. Plus, you will have all the power of an SUV or truck with 248 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. That is where strength and expertise mix to create an excellent vehicle for solo drivers or small families.

Safety and Technology

Now, to get into the good stuff—technology. The Altima’s interior cabin holds a 12.3-inch infotainment touch-screen display that is compatible with your Smartphone or Android. There is nothing like staying informed and keeping yourself entertained, especially if you will be putting some miles behind you. Plus, with ProPilot Assist and 360 degrees of combined cameras and sensors, you will be able to see everything around your car. And, with the MyNissan app, you can remain connected to your Altima without needing to be near it. On top of all that, it is Wi-Fi hotspot capable.

With a track record for award-winning safety in 2022 and 2023 for previous Altima models, I think we can assume how this year will go. It is only a matter of time before the IIHS claims the 2024 Altima for the Top Safety Pick+ like its predecessors. So, what makes the 2024 Altima safe? There are blind-spot monitors, lane-keep assist, and forward collision warnings. This vehicle is like a giant shield to keep you protected, not to mention features like emergency braking, high beam assist, and rear cross-traffic alert, which can guide the driver for the most assurance even before you get to the road.

Comfort and Convenience

With a new feel and design, the Altima is fitted with your choice of leather-appointed or cloth seats. You can also choose from dark to light interior colors to fit your design desires. Also, the touch-screen display sits high, providing a convenient location for both driver and passenger. With the ability to seat up to five people, you can travel together with plenty of legroom and support.

How Far Can You Go?

The previous Nissan Altimas have been known for dependability and low maintenance issues, making it easy on your life and wallet. The Nissan sedans are known for safe, reliable service. The 2024 model will not be different, as it can last up to 300,000 miles if you treat it right. That is phenomenal for an MSRP way below the new national average. You will have many happy years to enjoy with your luxury-like sedan. With purposeful features and a unique build, you can take this car anywhere you need to go.

Trim Options

This sedan has many available trim options for you, ensuring that you have everything you need or want and providing you with the best driving experience. The available trims are S, SV, SR, SR VC-Turbo, and SL. Of course, the base trim for this 2024 year is the S. This is the cheapest and most limited option. So, let’s check out what makes the other four trims worthwhile.

The SV is the next step up from the base trim as it has the choice for AWD and has an MSRP of $26,530. It sits slightly higher with 17-inch wheels and has a seven-inch advanced drive-assist display. While the S is a bit more on the practical side, this SV trim is sure to bring on the thrills and extra style options that will turn heads. The SV also has the NissanConnect eight-color display. While the fuel economy remains the same as a combined MPG of 32, there are other similar features that do not separate the SV trim too much apart from the S.

The SR has an MSRP of $27,930. With beautiful 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels, you can choose FWD or AWD. This trim, like the SV, has some design options that are not found on the base trim, like the dark chrome V-motion grille and wrapped steering wheel. It also features sport-tuned suspension (which is firmer than normal suspension), which makes it easier to experience the road. This also helps to limit the chances of rollover. This trim allows eight-way power-adjustable seating for the driver compared to the S, which only allows six and gives you the option for leather-appointed seating.

Just by the title, SR VC-Turbo, we can tell there is something special about this trim. This is also the most expensive option (but still below the national average), with an MSRP of $35,430. However, the biggest highlight is that this trim is available with a standard 2.0L VC-Turbo four-cylinder engine. This gives you 25 MPG in the city and 34 MPG on the highway, more efficient for longer drives. You will still receive up to 248 hp (vroom!, vroom!). This will be an unstoppable sedan with a lot of power under the hood.

Finally, we have the SL. With a slightly lower MSRP than the VC-Turbo of $32,430, we have a car that can give you the best of the best, from leather-appointed seating to 19-inch alloy wheels, acoustic laminated glass, and intelligent-around view monitors. This trim offers a luxurious style and comfort with all of the purposeful build on the classic S.
