7: 2022 (RED) Edition Renegade 4×4
The subcompact Jeep Renegade is great as a starter vehicle or as a weekend adventure ride. If you’re starting out and want something capable, sporty, and compact, the Jeep Renegade is the way to go. Maybe you want the most stylistic iteration of the Renegade, though? Well, that one will cost you. This is because it comes with a turbocharged 1.3-liter MultiAir turbo engine, 19-inch Granite Crystal wheels, and the latest in Uconnect HD touchscreen capabilities and smart device integration.
That’s not to mention that it’s decked out in a red livery with some special (RED) decals showing off the partnership between Jeep and (RED)––a company that partners with big brands to sell specialty (RED)-branded products with some of the proceeds going to the Global Fund. This is a higher trim level for the Renegade, so buying new may put it out of your budget. However, if you were to find a lease deal for this vehicle, you may find it more cost-friendly.
6: 2022 Compass High Altitude 4×4
The 2022 Jeep Compass High Altitude 4×4 is one of the higher-tier trims available for the Compass when it comes to Jeep’s offerings. That means that to buy it new will cost you, and that’s because the Compass High Altitude features some nifty offerings in the form of a 10.1-inch HD Uconnect touchscreen, a dual panoramic sunroof, and a premium LED external lighting array. The Compass also stands out with its available exterior two-tone color scheme, which will surely get a lot of heads to turn. However, if the asking price is just too much, there are lease deals available for the Compass High Altitude where you can enter into a lease with monthly payments that see you paying far less for a High Altitude than you would if you attempted to buy a lower trim Compass Sport brand new. That’s part of the benefit of a lease, as it can sidestep some of the additional costs associated with buying newer model year trims.

The 2022 Cherokee Limited is one of those offerings that some people simply skip over because despite having a lot of great features, it’s usually just outside the price range for most people or not pricey enough for those looking for a high-end luxury trim. It’s like that perfectly priced Jeep that’s just outside of everyone’s interests for different reasons. However, this is where Jeep lease deals come into play. You can get your hands on the Cherokee Limited 4×4 with the off-road four-wheel drive technology, 18-inch polished, painted aluminum wheels, and the standard inclusion of an Alpine premium surround sound system for far less than what you would pay if you attempted to get financing to buy the Cherokee Limited brand new. The Cherokee is especially worth it for the lease deals because you can find lease contracts where you’re paying a fraction of what you would have to invest if you bought it new. It’s a great way to take advantage of all the off-road capabilities, but without the hefty MSRP commitments.
4: 2022 Gladiator Mojave 4×4
One of the most popular iterations of the Jeep Gladiator is the Mojave. It’s a step above the Gladiator Rubicon, which is a beastly midsize pickup in its own right. With the Mojave, you have larger FOX 2.5-inch internal bypass shocks with external oil reservoirs, locking rear differentials, sway bar disconnect, and it is Desert Rated. It’s absolutely no shock that the Gladiator Mojave 4×4 is a pricey pickup, but with good reason. The MSRP means that it puts it outside the price range of a lot of potential off-road enthusiasts and adventure-minded drivers, but this is once again where the lease deals come into play for Jeeps. Much like the Cherokee Limited, with a lease, you can avoid some of the extremely high lifetime costs that come with buying new. Even if the down payment may be a bit high for many, what you get in return and for the monthly lease payments is a real steal compared to if you attempted to buy the Mojave at the MSRP.
3: 2022 Wrangler Sahara 4xe
The 2022 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4xe is just one of three available trims for the 4xe variant of the Wrangler. The Sahara is actually the entry-level trim for the 4xe, which is a plug-in hybrid of the popular midsize off-road SUV. If eco-conscious travel, reduced visits to the gas pump, and the ability to charge up the Wrangler overnight seem ideal to you, then the 2022 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4xe is the way to go. Even as an entry-level trim, it still features the off-road capabilities the Wrangler is known for, thanks to the Selec-Trac full-time 4×4 system, leather interior, LED lights, and the full suite of Uconnect infotainment technology. The added plug-in hybrid technology gives it additional value, but if you weren’t willing to throw your lot in with the MSRP, opting for a lease deal is definitely the better way to go. You get a Wrangler, you get hybrid tech, and you get to save both in monthly payments and at the pump.
2: 2022 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 4×4
Next up is the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 4×4. This is moving into the niche enthusiast territory where the costs are much higher, but the functionality and features are designed to justify said costs. The Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 4×4 comes with a sway bar disconnect, the iconic Trawilhawk hood decal that gives the exterior a two-tone flavor, and it comes standard with the Quadra-Drive II 4×4 system for maximum traction and stability control when venturing off-road. There’s no surprise that the cost of the Trailhawk is as high as it is, which can easily put off some potential customers from choosing to purchase this iteration of the Grand Cherokee. However, with the available lease deals out there, you can find them with lower down payment requirements and monthly payments cut by nearly half of what you would pay if buying new. If you wanted something large enough for the family but rugged enough for off-road travel, the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk is a good way to go.
1: 2022 Wrangler Rubicon 392
It really doesn’t get any better than the 2022 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392. This is basically the pinnacle of Jeep Wrangler offerings: a four-door SUV with lots of room, open-air modularity with removable doors, foldable windshield, and removable hard-top, along with beadlock capable wheels and massive 35-inch tires. Powered by the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 and utilizing the Hydro Glide air induction system, the Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 392 is a powerhouse of an SUV. Of course, with all of these features comes the extremely high price tag if you’re buying new.
With some Jeep lease deals, you can get the Rubicon 392 with much lower monthly payments than buying new. If you really wanted the Rubicon 392, even if just for a couple of years, leasing is the perfect way to go if your budget doesn’t quite allow you to buy brand new, but you don’t quite want to settle for buying an older used model year. It’s still going to be pricey compared to the other Jeeps on the list, but if you really, really love the Wrangler Rubicon 392 and want the latest model year, leasing would be the best way to go.
