A Closer Look at Buick’s Current Lineup

Over the years, Buick worked hard to refine its lineup, resulting in a slew of high-quality and luxurious SUVs. Models have changed over time, but now that SUVs are in such high demand, Buick’s focus on an SUV-centric lineup is proving to be beneficial, allowing them to stand out among their competition by providing vehicles that balance performance, luxury, and affordability. This makes them an especially desired brand for all types of drivers and lifestyles, leading many to visit their local Buick dealer when hunting for a great SUV packed with the innovative features they’re looking for in a modern vehicle.

Which SUVs are currently being offered in the Buick line? There are three core models available that expand into a variety of special lineups. The Avenir line is even more high-end than the standard models, and the Sport Touring (ST, for short) line is all about performance. In other words, you get quite a few worthy options. What you get will, of course, depend on your unique preferences and needs. To better understand which Buick you want, we will break the lineup down into the main SUVs/crossovers, the Avenir Line, and the Sport Touring Line. Buckle up, and let’s get to know the current Buick lineup.

SUVs and Crossovers

Buick has refined their lineup in recent years to include a core group of four SUVs and crossovers: the Encore GX, Envision, and Enclave. They represent different sizes and body styles, so you will want to carefully consider how much space you will need when looking at each one of these strong and capable vehicles.

The Buick Encore GX

First, we have the Encore GX, which replaces the outgoing Encore, whose final model year was 2022. This stylish SUV offers a chic exterior aesthetic with the signature Buick front grille, special wheel designs, and optional upgraded lighting features. You can opt for integrated roof rails for all your sporting needs. You can take this vehicle anywhere without hassle since it can easily take on a variety of road conditions.

The Encore GX’s interior is just as luxurious. On the line-topping Essence trim, you get an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat with built-in power lumbar support for additional comfort as you commute. When you opt for the Convenience package on this trim level, you get an abundance of extra tech and safety features: rain-sensing windshield wipers, a hands-free power liftgate, Rear Park Assist, and a Bose 7-speaker audio system.

The Buick Envision

The Buick Envision is a sleek and sophisticated compact SUV that feels much bigger than it might look from the outside. Contemporary in its design, the Envision has gently curving lines along its body and optional premium headlights that cast a brilliant glow in dimmer light settings. If you are constantly carrying things to stash in the cargo area, the available hands-free programmable power liftgate and its LED logo projection might appeal to you. If you have your keyless entry fob in your purse or pocket, just kick your foot over the Buick logo in the rear, and the liftgate will go up to an adjustable height. These are some of the many features demonstrating that the Envision is dedicated to convenience and comfort.

The Buick Enclave

If you are in the market for a midsize luxury SUV, the Buick Enclave might be just what you’re looking for. The Enclave is ideal for individuals or families who place a high value on in-vehicle technology. If you opt for the head-up display, you can simply press a button and get important vehicle and driving information projected onto the windshield, so you can concentrate on the road ahead without having to shift your focus to the digital display.

The Enclave is also packed with the connectivity features you’re looking for in a modern vehicle. Wi-Fi hotspot is available and provides you with a reliable connection no matter where your journey takes you. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connect wirelessly, allowing you to reduce cord clutter up front. On top of that, you get three years of the OnStar and Connected Services Premium Plan, so you can keep the vehicle connected and safe on the road. Should you ever find yourself in an emergency, these features can help connect you with emergency services should an unfortunate scenario arise.

The Avenir Line

While Buick’s standard lineup of SUVs offers an array of opulent features at an affordable price, those looking to take luxury up a notch should take a look at the brand’s stunning Avenir line. From a sharp exterior that will turn heads to a plethora of refined features and cutting-edge tech, the Avenir line is made for those looking for a truly elevated driving experience.

The Buick Envision Avenir

The Envision Avenir takes all the features found on the standard Envision and ups the ante with a large dose of luxury. You can blast music from the 9-speaker Bose sound system and scroll through apps on the crisp 10.2-inch color touchscreen equipped with the Buick Infotainment System, allowing you to view all of your entertainment functions. Also, Bluetooth hands-free connectivity is integrated into the system for easy access. The Envision Avenir has a premium interior design. It features exclusive textured wood-tone accents and diamond-perforated quilting on the leather-appointed front seats. Heated and ventilated seats are also available, adding an extra layer of comfort for all on board.

The Buick Enclave Avenir

The other Avenir model comes in the form of the Enclave, equipped with an abundance of helpful technology, including a head-up display, wireless smartphone charging, wireless smartphone app integration, and an option for Amazon Alexa to be integrated into the system. What’s more, an Enhanced Buick Driver Confidence Package comes standard, giving the vehicle innovative tools like Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, and more advanced driver aids.

The Enclave Avenir has a lengthy list of comfort and convenience features. The first row comes with embroidered carpeted floor mats, plus there is a built-in navigation system you can use to guide you. A power-sliding moonroof compliments the interior driving experience, allowing all on board to enjoy the afternoon sunshine or gaze at the stars on a night-time drive.

The Sport Touring Line

Finally, we have the Sport Touring Line of Buicks. These are available on the Encore GX, Envision, and Enclave and are modified for athleticism and might attract you if you’re the more adventurous, outdoorsy type.

The Buick Encore GX ST

The Encore GX ST is bold, and you can see a lot of sporty red hues popping from its interior and exterior designs. For example, the ST mesh grille features chic red inserts set off by the high-gloss black surround. If you opt for the Black Roof package, you get black roof rails, side mirrors, and, of course, a black roof. There are many easy-to-use tech features on the Encore GX ST. Alexa Built-In and wireless smartphone app integration are included, plus you can opt for wireless charging, a head-up display, and a rear camera mirror. All in all, this creates a highly personalized and connected experience.

The Buick Envision ST

Next up, we have the Envision ST. With red stitching accenting the seats, alloy sport pedals, and special ST badging, the interior of the Envision ST truly carries a sporty aesthetic throughout its design. The exterior of the Envision ST builds on this with blacked-out features, including black roof rails and dark finishes on the window trim, exhaust bezels, mirrors, and lower door trim. Altogether, it gives off a more aggressive look that is heightened by its black enhancements.

The Envision ST’s 2.0L Turbo 4-cylinder engine produces 228 hp, which is certainly enough to tackle various road conditions. The EPA estimates that the FWD variant gets 23 MPG in the city and 31 MPG on the highway; AWD knocks these numbers down slightly to 22 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway. For a sportier performance than the standard Envision, this is a reasonable trade-off.

The Buick Enclave ST

Last but not least is the Enclave ST. It is one of the pricier models but is well worth the cost if you want a sizable SUV that can take you on an adventure. Its unique exterior includes a blackened mesh front grille with a Pitch Dark Night lower trim that distinguishes it from other Enclave trims.

This SUV is remarkably quiet inside the cabin as well. That is all thanks to the Buick QuietTuning technologies that absorb, reduce, and block unpleasant wind noise from getting in. Active Noise Cancellation is one of these elements, as are the triple door seals. For the Enclave ST, luxury is more than just the best and brightest features; it’s about providing all on board a tranquil driving experience like no other midsize SUV on the market.

Luxury and Value Come Together in the Thrilling Buick Lineup

Buick genuinely knows how to build consumer-oriented SUVs, as every inch of this lineup feels imbibed with luxury and carefully crafted with the driver and passengers in mind. Buick currently sells a modest selection of SUVs when it comes to models and variations, but these vehicles themselves make some bold statements that few can match. For those longing for a heightened sense of luxury but don’t want to break the bank, the Buick lineup is here to take your travels to the next level, all at an affordable price tag.
