The 2024 F-250 Super Duty is the second model year of the fifth generation, so Ford didn’t make any major changes for the 2024 model year, as it carries over all of the new changes introduced with the new generation, including advanced functionality, improved tech, and better incorporation of upfitting accessibility. The 2024 F-250 is available in six different trims for 2024, including:

  • XL
  • XLT

2024 Ford F-350 Super Duty

The F-350 features all of the same updates as its smaller three-quarter-ton sibling but with a few added bonuses to its functionality, specifically its towing and trailering capabilities thanks to its reinforced, high-strength chassis and drivetrain. Like the F-250, it has a similar powertrain lineup, but it also offers dual rear-wheel drive for added towing capacity. The one-ton segment F-350 is available in six trim configurations, which include:

  • XL
  • XLT
  • Lariat
  • King Ranch
  • Platinum
  • Limited

There are four different powertrain configurations available for the 2024 F-350 Super Duty, similar to the F-250, which includes the same 6.8-liter V8, the 7.3-liter “Godzilla” V8, the 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 turbo-diesel and the high-output version of the Power Stroke turbo-diesel. The difference is that the chassis design gives the F-350 heightened trailering capacity, enabling it to handle up to 32,900 lbs worth of cargo. It can also manage a payload of up to 8,000 lbs.

The F-350 maintains the same sort of interior features as the F-250. That means all of the safety and driver assist you get with the Ford Co-Pilot360, as well as the infotainment suite that is made available with the Ford SYNC system. This model also has 5G Wi-Fi support as well as available onboard scales for when you’re hitching or hauling equipment with the truck. Plus, you have the features and conveniences available for comfortable travel, with power front driver and passenger seats with heated and ventilated capabilities, just like the F-250.

Shopping for the Right Ford Truck

If buying a 2024 truck from Ford is important to you, then it’s equally important to make sure you scout for the right truck with the right features. Keep in mind that barebones trucks are your entry-level trims, while the mid-tier offerings are better for daily driving. You have off-road options for weekend warrior activities or recreation, as well as heavy-duty trucks for commercial towing, trailering, hauling, or transportation. So, scout what works with your budget and driving needs, and make sure you find a truck that you actually enjoy driving.
