You’ll also be able to upgrade to V8 power with the available 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 powertrain, providing you with 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque to be able to tow up to 11,200 lbs.

Although some of the Double Cab trims can be enjoyed with the even more powerful 6.2L EcoTec3 V8, like the SLT, this powertrain is found more often in the Crew Cab lineup. Those seeking to get off the beaten trail will want to carefully explore some off-road-ready Sierra 1500 variants, which are only available in the Crew Cab configuration. With an off-road tuned suspension, a two-inch factory-installed lift, and specialized Rancho monotube shock absorbers, the Sierra 1500 AT4 is a crowd favorite for those who are chasing adventure. Those serious about off-roading will be drawn in by the AT4X, which offers Multimatic DSSV dampers, front and rear electronic locking differentials, and uniquely tuned springs to bring your dreams of trekking through the wilderness to life. These particular trims are only available in Crew Cab configurations, so if you want to venture into nature with authority, you’ll be in a Crew Cab.

Available Trims

A phenomenal selection of trims is available in the 2025 Sierra 1500 lineup, and not every trim will be available in every cab configuration. These entry-level and mid-level trims can be enjoyed in both a Double and a Crew Cab, with the exception of the SLT, which is only available in a Crew Cab. AT4 & AT4X

Denali & Denali Ultimate
